If money isn’t an issue, vinyl wraps allow you these days to transform the appearance of your car from one look to the other in a matter of days, sometimes even hours. This British owner of the Nissan GT-R took may have taken delivery of the Japanese sports car only in July but he’s already in his second vinyl wrap.

At first, he tried out a matte white look with smoked tail lights and black alloys. The owner says that the white wrap took two days to complete and cost him about £1,600 plus VAT (US $2,640 or €1,780 at today’s exchange rates).

Shortly after, he changed his mind and went for a chrome look. According to the GTR forum member /owner, the chrome wrap was more complex and took a lot more time to complete than the matte-white (around two weeks to get it perfect, he says) while it also cost more money.

We’ll keep an eye on the forum as something tells us that the color-experiments are far from over…

BMW VIDEO TEASES 2011 5-SERIES

In typical BMW fashion, the Bavarian automaker has published a brief press release stating that the next-generation 5-Series Sedan will be officially revealed to the world on November 23. The release was accompanied by a short trailer teasing the executive sedan’s silhouette through the use of the kinetic sculpture from the BMW Museum.

There’s nothing else official on the sixth-generation 5-Series, but we do know that it is closely related to the controversial 5-Series GT and that the sedan model will be followed by a Touring version and of course, an all-new M5 that will get a twin-turbocharged V8 engine instead of the current model’s naturally aspirated V10.

“Born on the Racetrack to Live on the Streets” is BMW’s motto for its newly revealed M3 GTS, a stripped-out 450-horsepower version of the M3 Coupe that marks the M division’s return to its roots. Following the presentation of the first photos, details (click here to read our previous post) and a rather dull static teaser film, the Bavarian firm has now released a pair of impressive and beautifully executed videos showing off the M3 GTS on the race track.
